Accident in Eagan, Minnesota, Leaves Crack Sealing Crew Member Seriously Injured

EAGAN, MINNESOTA—This morning, an unfortunate accident unfolded in Eagan, Minnesota, as a crack sealing crew was diligently working along Central Parkway near Central Park Village Drive. The routine task turned tragic when one of the crew members slipped and fell under a trailer tire, sustaining serious injuries.

According to the Eagan Police Department's preliminary investigations, the incident occurred around 9:15 AM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The crew member, whose identity had not been disclosed at the time of reporting, was immediately attended to by emergency responders from the Eagan Police Department and the Eagan Fire Department. The injured worker was transported to Regions Hospital. Details regarding the extent of the injuries sustained by the crew members have not been disclosed, but the crew member was reported to have sustained serious injuries.

Authorities will continue investigating this incident to determine the root cause and identify any safety lapses that may have contributed to the unfortunate event and could prevent this from happening.
